IVE is a six-member girl group under Starship Entertainment that debuted on December 1, 2021 with "ELEVEN." Leader Yujin and Jang Wonyoung first reached the top with IZ*ONE after appearing on Produce 48, so the group launched as a polished, high-profile act from day one. Built around a confident "love yourself" narrative, IVE forms one axis of the fourth-generation rivalry alongside aespa, LE SSERAFIM, NMIXX, and BABYMONSTER.
The debut was fast; the rise was faster. IVE took their first music-show win just seven days after debut, breaking the previous girl-group record of nine days (held by ITZY), and 360 days after debut they won the "Song of the Year" daesang for "LOVE DIVE" at the 2022 Melon Music Awards — the third-fastest first daesang in girl-group history, after miss A and 2NE1. Their official fandom name, revealed right after debut, is DIVE.

IVE's songs variate a single consistent theme: self-assurance. "LOVE DIVE" borrows the Narcissus myth for the confidence of falling in love, "I AM" projects an attitude unshaken by others' eyes, and "Kitsch" affirms being unapologetically oneself. Strong hook-driven choruses, restrained arrangements, and the visual impact centered on Jang Wonyoung and Yujin make them especially strong on music-show stages and in fancams.
IVE surpassed two million cumulative album sales on the Circle Chart just nine months after debut — the fastest in K-pop history — and "After LIKE" achieved a "perfect all-kill," a first for a rookie girl group. "LOVE DIVE" swept the "Song of the Year" categories at the Asia Artist Awards, Golden Disc Awards, MAMA Awards, and Melon Music Awards, an unusually decorated run for a group in its first year.
On February 23, 2026 IVE released their second studio album "Revive+" with lead single "Blackhole," preceded by the pre-release "Bang Bang" on February 9. On May 27 they put out their fourth Japanese EP "Lucid Dream," whose limited-edition artwork — a collaboration with horror manga artist Junji Ito — drew wide attention and broadened their Japanese activity. Individual stages can be browsed under the Jang Wonyoung, Yujin, Rei, and Liz categories.
