A. While standalone advance discounted tickets are no longer on sale, you can still trim your expenses. Munhwa Nuri Cardholders can pay for on-site tickets using their government subsidy balance, and visitors traveling by train can book KORAIL Tourism Development's KTX-bundled packages to combine transit and admission for better value.

A. A ticket is only needed to enter the indoor Maskdance Theater inside Maskdance Park to watch the premier performances by invited Korean and international troupes. All other outdoor stage shows, street parades, the Daedong Nanjang (open-air dance celebration), and hands-on experience booths are free to enjoy without a ticket.
Q. Can I use the Munhwa Nuri Card at every vendor across the festival?
A. No, it is not accepted everywhere. You can only use it at booths displaying the official "Munhwa Nuri Card Merchant" sticker. These are vendors temporarily registered for the festival; during the 2024 event, about 72 food and experience booths accepted the card. Look for the sticker on the front of each stall before purchasing.
